The movie was okay. It clearly portrayed the book except for a few minor details. I believe I would have been more excited in the movie if I wouldn’t have read the book first. Although the story was very heartwarming and compelling, I think the movie could have been better.

THE MOVIE AND THE BOOK HAS MOSTLY THE SAME THINGS. ALTHOUGH THE BOOK HAS MUCH MORE DETAILS. I THINK AFTER YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE ITS BETTER TO IMAGINE WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE BOOK, AND YOU CAN ENJOY IT MORE.

Well we thought that the movie was great. It was very emotional at times and hilarious also. The movie teaches lessons and shows life long experiences and that’s what we enjoyed the most. It expressed that love doesn’t only have to come from your family but it can come from anyone.
It compares to the movie because we pictured it exactly how the book took place. All the inside things that she described was how the movie put it.

I thought that the movie was very educated .It taught me alot about people helping each other no matter what race they were and it was touching to me and I would like to see it again. It was a liittle differnt from the book but it all kind of went in the same format as the book but the book had more details in it.

I think the movie was great. I think its a good inspirational movie to watch with your family to learn about African American after slavery 100 years later, to show that life still wasnt fair to African American. How the movie compare to the book, it just alike because when you reading and have a image of the life it presenting, it just like you imagine in the movie.

The movie was very good to me. It had some interesting scenes. I really enjoyed it, but it was somewhat different from the book. The book has more details and more scenes. The book was more descriptive than the movie. I enjoyed reading the book more.

The secret life of bees was a great movie. I really enjoyed it and the movie reflected back well with the book. Even though i’ve never seen the movie it felt like i did because i read the book. From the beginning to the end the book as well as the movies keep me interested.

the movie was great but the book was awsome. there was a part were she made T.Ray chicken but in the movie she made him eggs. otherwise the movies was a lot similiar to the book but the book was a little more descriptive than the movie. the movie gave tears to my eyes because it seemed as if i could hear, see and feel what was going on as the pain was erupting in they heart it was doing the same to me becuase i’m very sensitive. but i love it and yes i would watch it over and over especially with my hubby.

I really enjoyed the movie, although I feel the novel gave better detail. While watching the movie I felt as if I were actually apart of each character’s experience. I really think others should read the novel before veiwing the movie because there were good parts in the book that were left out for you to infer. Overall it was GREAT!!!!!
