WOW! This is one of the most information intensive professional development activities that I have ever attended. This camp is excellent and I would recommend it to educators who really want to incorporate technology into their content areas. There is something here for everyone. I really love the camaraderie in the Educational Technology department. These people really like each other, they accept each other, and they know each other. It’s incredible. They all have their areas of expertise but they are constantly learning from each other as well. They should also conduct workshops on team building.

I thought I was  technologically savvy, but the Educational Technology Department  has introduced me to 4 innovations in 2 hours that I didn’t know about previously.
I’m pretty sure that Xdrive which is affiliated with AOL (whom I can’t stand) hates me as much as I hate AOL. I’m having a lot of trouble creating an account. There are so many innovative programs, Web 2.0 applications, and just amazing ways to share information. I am so glad that I was selected to attend the Tech Camp. They told us today that they will offer two additional days of training later.

I really think MHS students are going to enjoy utilizing some of the new technology, such as, VoiceThread, wikis, bloging, podcasting, and Zoho.

I’m so excited. This camp is going to be great! The Educational Technology Department is here and ready to teach us. I hope I can collaborate with several teachers this year to incorporate some of this new, innovative technology into the various content areas. I think students have more success when technology is incorporated into their lessons.
